Kaufmo is a major antagonist in The Amazing Digital Circus, first appearing as the main antagonist of the Pilot. He is a human who entered the Digital Realm and became obsessed with finding the exit. However, Kaufmo abstracted after failing to find an exit, proceeding to wreak havoc upon the circus before being sent to the cellar by Caine.
Biography[]
Very little is known about Kaufmo aside from being a human trapped in The Digital Circus as a performer.
Kaufmo enjoyed telling jokes, which usually attracted a lukewarm reception. At some point prior to Pomni's arrival, Kaufmo became obsessed with finding an exit from the digital circus. The inability to find an exit eventually drove Kaufmo mad, causing his abstraction.
Shortly after Pomni's arrival, Kaufmo was discovered in his abstracted form by Jax, Pomni, and Ragatha. After escaping his room, Kaufmo almost immediately attacked Ragatha, viciously wounding her. Kaufmo then began to chase Pomni, following the latter's attempted intervention on Ragatha's behalf. Chasing Pomni into the circus' main area, Kaufmo found himself on the ground floor, continuing his rampage where he attacked any characters in his line of sight.
Kaufmo's rampaging eventually caused part of the tent's floor to cave in, sending him crashing into the Gloink nest. He then proceeded to attack the Gloink Queen, easily defeating and incapacitating her.
After returning to the Tent, Caine transported Kaufmo to the cellar, discarding him there alongside other performers who had also abstracted.
