An inhabitant of the planet Arlia, Atla suffered greatly under the cruel dictatorship of King Moai. When he and his beloved bride, Lemlia, were to be married, the wicked king stole her and fored her to marry him instead, imprisoning poor Atla in the dungeons of his castle.
Hope seemed to come with the arrival of two Saiyan warriors, Nappa andVegeta. They quickly destroyed King Moai and all his guards. Atla was thus reunited with Lemlia, but it wasn't for long, as Vegeta, disgusted that Arlia wasn't a challenge, destroyed the entire planet.
