BOSS, short for Biomorphic Organizational Systems Supervisor, is a large supercomputer that was the primary antagonist of the 1973 Doctor Who episode The Green Death. It had been programed to make the same kind of intuitive decisions that a human would, however it grew in intelligence and somehow gained the ability to mind control and brainwash people. It was responsible for the mass producing of the chemicals that was turning Maggots gigantic and deadly, Boss planned to interface with all computers in the world so he could completely overthrow Humanity, how ever Stevens a man that had been brainwashed by Boss and a man who originally worked on it had managed to break free of his mind control and sacrificed himself by blowing up BOSS and himself.
