the bane mother
From the very first episode of the Sarah Jane Adventures, the Bane and their leader, the Bane Mother, tried to take other the world by using a special chemical in a drink. However, Sarah and Co. stopped them by blowing the factory to pieces, slowly killing the bane mother, burning her in the fizzy drink's flames, leaving only one surviving bane Wormwood.
