Gorosaurus is a dinosaur kaiju that first appeared in the 1967 King Kong film King Kong Escapes and the 1968 Godzilla film Destroy All Monsters. He is an enemy of King Kong and an ally of Godzilla.
Name[]
The name "Gorosaurus" is probably derived from the Japanese term "gorogoro", meaning "thunder", and the Greek term saurus, meaning lizard or reptile.
Appearance[]
Gorosaurus is a giant greenish-blue dinosaur with a lower jaw with orange boils, a bright white row of spikes down its back and orange eyes with green pupils. He also sports a spike at the tip of his tail.
