Pyro was a being made of fire. He was summoned by Hera when her disciple, Zandar, needed a great weapon to use against Hercules. Pyro attacked Hercules in the cellar of Salmoneus' mansion in Orestia. Hercules was able defeat him by capturing him in a barrel and cutting off his supply of oxygen. It was unclear whether Pyro had been killed or whether he could return.
